About Partnership

The other challenge of the launching stage was to secure the interest of a variety of partners, both public and private. The Codex-Online team has managed to set up the embryo of the network of partners required, which already encompasses relevant institutions in Luxembourg and potential content providers in Luxembourg and a number of other countries.
The partner network comprises three categories of members:
1. Members of the European and global legal community, who contribute to the overall development of Codex-Online from its inception. They are grouped in both one global and several regional and national "editorial boards", whose task it is to broaden the scope of Codex-Online, commit new partners to the project, survey the incoming materials and those already present on the site, update it, and eventually organise Codex-Online events.
2. Institutional partners, both public and private, who equally act as content providers and sponsors of the site. Public authorities act as official supporters of Codex-Online and facilitators, while private institutional partners, notably larger firms in the legal and consultancy fields, derive improved access to up-to-date legal information and state-of-the-art personal applications developed on and around the site from their financial commitment.
3. Partners whose role consists of contributions to the marketing efforts of Codex-Online. This category does not provide information relevant to the site, but supports its development on the grounds of commercial interests.
